The CGIL reports: “It is the second accident on that construction site in a few months”
The general secretary of the CGIL Naples and Campania, Nicola Ricci, says this regarding the accident that occurred today
ROME – “This afternoon’s very serious accident on the Capodichino construction site of theLine 1 of the Naples metro is the second to occur on the same construction site in a few months. All of this is unacceptable: prevention is needed , organization of working times, daily checks especially on large construction sites and preventive training on particular works such as that of the Naples metro. This would be enough to stem the inexorable trail of deaths that is getting longer and longer in Campania”.
“RESPONSE-CAN-NOT-BE-THE-OF-THE-STRIKE”
The general secretary of the CGIL Naples and Campania, Nicola Ricci, says it, regarding the accident that occurred today on the construction site of the Naples metro. “We are outraged. The response, in this case , I believe it could also be that of the strike. We will evaluate it – he adds – we are close to the family of this worker, it is another innocent death”. For the CGIL “a legislative reform is immediately needed to identify and make the entire supply chain on construction sites co-responsible. In recent weeks we have been collecting thousands of signatures for the referendums proposed by the CGIL which put the dignity of work and the ‘repeal of existing laws that are wrong and insufficient”,
