The cat disappeared, what happened to it? The incredible story that comes from Naples

The incident reconstructed by two volunteers from the Campania capital shows that it is never useless to look for lost animals

NAPLES – A recovery of akitten from the engine compartment lasted from 5pm until 2am.

Two volunteers from Naples are involved in the undertaking and are reconstructing what happened on Facebook to underline how it is not at all useless to search for lost animals even in areas very distant from where they disappear.

“The kitten – we read in the post – has an owner but was involuntarily taken away from the place where it livesbecause it had slipped into the engine compartment of a parked car. After having had a nice tour of the whole city and after having spent a night in Posillipo, always in the same engine compartment, the following day during the new car tour he decided to move into the engine compartment of another parked car , this time in the Fuorigrotta area”.

After this original city tour and thanks to the dedication of the volunteers, the little cat was taken and brought back to his mother and his two little brothers. “The moment of the reunion – again the post – was very tender and worth all the sweat and effort”.

THE SOUND NOTE

A discordant note in the long recovery attempt with a happy ending was the appearance on the scene of “a ‘gentleman’ from the area we were in to help the kitten who decided that it would be very fun to pull from the his balcony a dozen bolts with the slingshot to harm those who were trying to do good…”.

“Congratulations to the two volunteers for their intervention and for their unconditional love towards their four-legged friends. Thanks to people like this, dogs and cats can enjoy greater protection and defend themselves from the abuses and abuses of uncivilized and cowards, like the one who threw the bolts.” Thus the deputy of the Greens-Left alliance Francesco Emilio Borrelli to whom the story of the two volunteers was reported, who then adds: “when you leave by car, always take a look at the engine compartment because the cats are always looking for safe places and could get stuck and get hurt. A few seconds of your time could save a life.”
