ROME – Claudio Baglioni will perform the national anthem on 2 June, on the occasion of the celebrations for the 78th anniversary of the proclamation of the Republic: the Joint Defense Band will accompany the singer. The Republic Day celebrations will take place at the Fori Imperiali and will be broadcast live on Rai 1 and on all the social channels of the Defense. The theme chosen for this year is “In Defense of the Republic, at the Service of the Country”. The highest officials of the State and delegations from all over the world will also participate in the ceremony which will take place in the presence of the President of the Republic.
