The tension between French President Emmanuel Macron and Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni who was hosting the G7 has not abated

ROME – Despite the reassurance that no will take “no step back from the Hiroshima document” and that the issue relating to abortion in the final declaration of the G7 has “been whipped up like cream”, as reported by Italian sources at the summit of world leaders, the tension between French President Emmanuel Macron and Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni who was doing the honors has not abated. After a day of great tension at the G7 Macron and Meloni met at the gala dinner at the Castello Svevo in Brindisi offered to world leaders by the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella.
