MILAN – Friends for many years and now they have finally fallen in love (but only to please fans of the ‘Bridgerton’ saga, created by Julia Quinn). Nicola Coughlan and Luke Newton, respectively Penelope Featherington and Colin Bridgerton, landed in Milan to present to the press the third season by Shonda Rhimes available in two parts on Netflix (the first four episodes from May 16th and the last four from June 13th).
For ‘Polin’ fans the wait is over: after two seasons of ‘friendzone’ “Penelope thought she didn’t have a chance with him. If she had been a friend of mine I would have advised her to leave it alone. In the new episodes not only sex, love and vulnerability but also a surprising change. “Together they go on a journey in search of awareness and in the end they find it. They both experience different emotions and this transformation also translates into their appearance, such as Penelope’s change of costumes, makeup and hair,” Coughlan said. Penelope and Colin “are very modern characters. She is a truly fantastic businesswoman, she is a writer. I think many women can feel close to her: because she wants to find love, have a good job and be herself. Colin, on the other hand, is sensitive and kind. The powerful aspect of this season is that he decides to embrace his personality,” said Luke Newton.
