BOLOGNA – Filippo Turetta had been planning to kill Giulia since before the day of the crime, which occurred on November 11th. According to what was reconstructed by the Prosecutor’s Office, which closed the investigation a few days ago and requested the indictment on charges of premeditation, the planning dates back to at least 7 November. This was written by Corriere della Sera, which today recounts many details of the femicide reconstructed in the investigation.
Among the various things that are disputed in Turetta there is a file in which the young man had taken notes on how to tie Giulia, being precisely intent – according to the investigators – to kidnap her and then kill her. The file had been deleted by him but was extracted by investigators with the help of computer experts. The file reads: “How to tie Giulia, with adhesive tape on her hands, ankles, knees and also how to cover her mouth“. And even the searches he made on the Internet are proof of his intentions: in the Corriere della Sera it is explained that among the words searched by Turetta there are also insulating tape, handcuffs, rope, shovel, black bags.
The investigations also reveal that Turetta had installed a spy app on Giulia’s phone with which he could spy on the girl in all her movements. The control he had over her was continuous.
Again, in the notice of the end of the investigation there is talk of “premeditation, cruelty and ferocity“. Giulia was killed with 75 stab wounds, many of which were also directed to the face. The girl was also hit in the hands, probably while she was trying to defend herself from her ex-boyfriend who became her killer. According to the investigators, Turetta acted with cruelty “clearly exceeding the homicidal intent“.
