ROME – After ten years of the centre-right at the helm of the Municipality, there is a head-to-head in Perugia, in view of the next municipal elections on 8 and 9 June 2024. According to the Tecnè survey presented today from the Dire agency, Margherita Scoccia, councilor of the centre-right council of the outgoing mayor Andrea Romizi, could position herself at 48% of the preferences of her fellow citizens, with an estimated gap between 46 and 50%. In first position by just one point, because her challenger, Vittoria Ferdinandi, supported by the broad field (Pd, M5s, Alleanza Verdi Sinistra, and Pensa Perugia), would stand at 47%< /strong>, with an estimated range between 45 and 49%. The other candidates, however, would not exceed 5%.

The two candidates will be driven by the first two parties at national level: Fdi, estimated at 24% (with a range between 22 and 26%) and the Democratic Party, estimated at 23% (with a range between 21 and 25%). The other parties are further behind: the Romizi/Forza Italia list would collect 10% of the preferences (range estimated between 8 and 12%); the 5 Star Movement 7% (estimated range between 5 and 9); the League and the Green-Left Alliance both at 5% (estimated range between 4 and 6%). The other forces of the centre-right are estimated at 9% while those of the broad/centre-left at 12%.
61% declared their vote while the area of unsure and abstention stood at 39%.
The survey was carried out with a probability sample representative of the adult population resident in Perugia. Control variables: gender, age, educational qualification, occupation. Municipal territorial extension. Interviews carried out in the period 20-21 May 2024 with the cati method. Margin of error of estimates: +/-3.1%.
