Schlein: “Meloni didn’t say a word about Toti in Trento. It is the silence of the indecent”

The secretary of the Democratic Party says this on the sidelines of the Trento Economics Festival

ROME – “I followed Giorgia Meloni’s interview with great attention here at the Trento Festival of Economics. I was amazed that she didn’t take the opportunity to say a word about the situation in Liguria and on the arrest of Giovanni Toti. It is the silence of the indecent, it is now subject to Salvini’s diktat who asks Toti to resist, but the one who risks not resisting is the Liguria Region which does not deserve to remain blocked and not be able to turn the page and start againbecause it is hanging on to an investigation from which a very serious picture emerges”. The secretary of the Democratic Party Elly Schlein says this on the sidelines of the Trento Economics Festival.

“The judiciary will work on criminal responsibilities, but there is a question of political expediency so it is not clear what President Giovanni Toti is waiting for to resign and allow Liguria to turn the page and move forward< /strong>“, concludes Schlein.
