ROME – The process of the so-called save-home decree which contains urgent provisions regarding building and urban planning simplification will start from the Chamber. This was announced in the Chamber today by the current president of the Montecitorio Assembly, Fabio Rampelli, during a ‘flash’ session for communications to deputies on the June calendar. The decree, strongly supported by the deputy prime minister and leader of the League Matteo Salvini, was approved by the Council of Ministers on May 24th. After publication in the Official Journal, on 29 May, the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, authorized the presentation of the measure to the Chambers.
The decree therefore entered into force on May 29th. From the following day private individuals and PAs can request the building permit and Scia in amnesty and can also obtain it with silent consent for interventions carried out by May 24th. The rules were designed to rregularize small building differences, minor abuses such as partitions or windows positioned differently than authorized.
