Salda (Cms): “Let’s establish a corporate family day at national level”

MARANO SUL PANARO (MODENA) – Elena Salda, managing director of C.M.S. Spa, the historic metalworking company from Modena, launches an invitation: “Let’s establish a company Family Day at a national level. That is: a day, common to all companies, in which the families of employees can learn about company life, visiting the factory and sharing its values. Thus, together we can generate that social value, an integral part of doing business which has a significant impact on the local area in which the company operates and develops”.

In the United States, company Family Day is already a national holiday. A notable step forward has already been made in this regard. “All we have to do is create the conditions so that all companies can promote this type of activity, therefore, I think that the institutions can and must move in this direction. Our Constitution is based on work and also on the family. The family context must also for this reason, to be considered an important aspect of the corporate community, with participation” explains Salda.

C.M.S. Spa, again this year, opened its doors to the families of its employees. It did so a few days ago, in its factories and offices to welcome the family members of its collaborators. The participation was massive. C.M.S. Spa currently employs over 170 people. This was a way to show loved ones the places of work, be it an office or a production department, to visit the spaces where many hours of the day are spent. C.M.S. Spa has been committed for years to promoting a positive working environment, recognizing the importance of balancing professional and personal life, there are many initiatives that strengthen these values, from flexible incoming and outgoing hours to nursery school company, the possibility of using the hour bank, the contribution for the birth of a child.
