ROME – Special edition of Montecitorio a Porte Aperte for the Night of the Museums on May 18th. In fact, the Chamber opened its doors from 8pm, with a concert by the Carabinieri Musical Band. The last entry of visitors was around half past midnight.
The guided tours, in addition to the main reception rooms, also touched the courtyard, at the center of the recently completed restoration work.
The itinerary also includes the installation dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the entry into force of the Constitution and the paintings by the artist Marta Czok, in the Corridor of Busts. The young talents of the Rome Opera Theater performed in the Sala della Regina: Valentina Gargano, soprano, Eduardo Niave, tenor, Zenoviia Anna Danchak, piano, with a repertoire mostly of Puccini and Verdi. At the opening, the Carabinieri band, directed by Maestro Massimiliano Ciafrei, began with the Italian anthem and ended with ‘La Fedelissima’, the official march of the force.
