ROME –The expert digital manager Patrizia Sormani is the new president of ANORC Mercato. The election came at the end of the Association Assembly yesterday afternoon, Tuesday 28 May.
“I am truly very honored and grateful – she said after the nomination, which arrived by acclamation – Never like this year has the conservation market been affected by an important evolution and change: eIDAS2 with e-archiving as a service trustee, the qualification, the technical specifications, the adaptation of Italian legislation, compliance and cyber securitywith the various provisions referred to in NIS 2, Dora etc… I am sure that ANORC will be able to do everything within its possibilities to affirm and preserve the great value expressed by its Italian member companies: now more than ever is it important to preserve the value of information through best practices of the highest value”.

CEO of her consultancy firm Patrizia Sormani Consulting, the new president of ANORC Mercato has been providing consultancy generally in the ICT and IT law sectors for over a decade and in particular in sector of trust services (Qtsp-Quality trust service provider), document management, digital preservation and digitization processes in general, electronic signatures, authentication systems.
“I am also doubly happy – he added – that together with the undeniable competence that ANORC has always expressed, there is also a female presence. My mission will be to ensure, with grace and decision, together with the Management and to all members, the interests of our association“.
Sormani took the place of engineer Giovanni Manca, who became vice president by right after two terms. The Association also wants to thank the former vice president (previously president for 2 years), the lawyer Massimiliano Lovati, for his commitment during his mandates. In addition to the ANORC Mercato Assembly, that of ANORC Professioni also took place yesterday morning. During both meetings, a report was given on the fruitful activities carried out during 2023 and a point was made on future projects which from today will also involve the new president.
