In a 2021 photo published on the Facebook page, Patrizia Cormos is found along the Natisone river, in a point that could be that of the tragedy or very close to it

BOLOGNA – A photo taken on the Natisone river,on a small gravel beach which could be precisely that tragedy, or not far from it: the image, which seen today is dramatic, is that of Patrizia Cormos, the 20-year-old girl who died together with her friend Bianca Doros in the flood waters of the river that flows through Udine. The photo of the girl, dated July 2021, is among those published on her Facebook page. Behind the young woman one also seems to glimpse an islet very similar to the one where the three boys, tragically, were trapped on Friday before being dragged away by the violence of the current.

Meanwhile, the Udine Prosecutor’s Office has opened a case against unknown persons for manslaughter and is trying to examine everything that was done to save the three boys overwhelmed on Friday 31 May by the flood of the Natisone river and deaths (the bodies of Patrizia and Bianca have already been found, that of Cristian not yet), today the funeral home is open for the last farewell to the two girls, who will be buried in Romania, the country from which they originally came.

The bridge seen in the image behind Patrizia is a cycle/pedestrian bridge located at Firmano, not far from Premariacco.
