Patrizia and Bianca dressed as brides for the final farewell: today and tomorrow the Funeral Chamber

The two girls who drowned in the Natisone after being overwhelmed by the flood were dressed as brides on the occasion of their last farewell as per Romanian tradition

BOLOGNA – The funeral home has opened in Udine for Patrizia Cormos, aged 20, and Bianca Doros, aged 23, the two girls of Romanians who died in the flood of the Natisone river: the bodies of the two girls were dressed as brides according to Romanian tradition. The funeral chapel, which takes place in the Mansutti Funeral Home in the urban cemetery of San Vito, will remain open today until 6.30 pm and then again tomorrow, until 4 pm. Before the conclusion, there will be a moment of prayer by two priests, one Orthodox and one Catholic. The girls’ full names are Patrizia Maria Cormos and Bianca Anisoara Doros.

THE GIRLS WILL BE BURIED IN ROMANIA

The bodies of the two girls, who were friends, will then be transferred to Romania: the funeral will in fact be held in Tarna Mare, in Transylvania, where the girls will be buried. When the families of the two girls arrived at the funeral home this morning, they were welcomed by the prefect, the police commissioner of Udine and the provincial commanders of the Carabinieri and the Guardia di Finanza.

CRISTIAN IS STILL MISSING

The body of Cristian Casian Molnar, Bianca’s 25-year-old boyfriend, has still not been found: he has still been missing since last Friday, when the three were swallowed up in the river while trying to hold on together to a rock. The hopes of finding him alive, which accompanied the first two days of searches, are now almost in vain.
