ROCCELLA CONTESTATA AT THE STATES GENERAL OF NATALITA

Dispute for the Minister of the Family Eugenia Roccella at the General States of Birth. Roccella was booed by a group of male and female students who shouted “I decide on my body”. After an attempt at dialogue, the protest continued and the minister decided to abandon the event. “This is real censorship – he said – other than fascism”. Representatives of the highest institutions express solidarity with her. “Silence is not civil”, underlines Sergio Mattarella in a phone call to the minister. FENTANYL. GOVERNMENT PLAN TO STOP THE SPREAD

The Fentanyl phenomenon in Italy seems to be under control, with the government keeping its attention high to stamp it out before it takes hold. Almost two months after the national prevention plan against this synthetic drug, presented on March 12, the executive takes stock of the situation with Undersecretary Alfredo Mantovano and the Minister of Foreign Affairs Antonio Tajani and implements an information campaign. For Mantovano “the phenomenon in Italy does not have the devastating consequences seen in the United States but it still exists”. According to the deputy prime minister, the spread of this analgesic must be “suppressed” “before the numbers increase”. A series of commercials and an information campaign will start from 10 June, in which, explains Tajani, “Italian embassies, consulates and schools abroad will be involved”.
