LIGURIA. TOTI’S INTERROGATION ON FRIDAY

There’s everything in the investigation that put the president of the Liguria region Giovanni Toti under house arrest. Twenty-five people were investigated by the Genoa prosecutor’s office who identified a corrupt system of power. In the center the entrepreneur Aldo Spinelli and the president of the Port Authority Paolo Emilio Signorini. In the viewfinder of the Finance Department, tenders and concessions, 570 thousand euros seized. Toti will be questioned on Friday. Brothers of Italy and the League remain cold on the future of the center-right governor. The secretary of Forza Italia Antonio Tajani expresses doubts about the timing of the judiciary: “Perhaps we could have intervened at another time”, he says.

AWARDED TO THE SENATE, 3 THOUSAND AMENDMENTS BY THE OPPOSITION< /h3>

The bill on the premiership for the direct election of the Prime Minister is being examined by the Senate. The general discussion began this morning at Palazzo Madama. The provision, considered by the government to be the mother of all reforms, is however expected to be subject to over three thousand amendments. Over 1,600 were presented by the Democratic Party. Secretary Elly Schlein promises battle and asks the party’s senators to “stop the acceleration desired by the government in which there is fear of tampering with the Constitution”. Schlein then announced that a large protest demonstration against the reform will be held in Rome on June 2.

She has a half heart, without a right ventricle since birth, and today she is the mother of twins. Ylenia Mellaro, 36 years old, Roman, was received and awarded today by the President of the Chamber, Lorenzo Fontana, in view of Mother’s Day. Due to a congenital heart disease, she was forced to undergo surgery to build an alternative circulation system. Thanks to the Bambino Gesù and Gemini specialists, in October she became the mother of twins, Claudio and Giulia, born weighing 1.4 kg and in excellent health. “We wanted to celebrate Mother’s Day with a courageous woman and a beautiful family.”

BORN, MELONI RECEIVES STOLTENBERG

The Prime Minister, Giorgia Meloni, received the Secretary General of NATO, Jens Stoltenberg, at Palazzo Chigi. At the center of the conversation were current issues on the Atlantic agenda in the context of the preparation
of the NATO summit in Washington in July. Meloni reiterated the Italian expectation that concrete decisions can be adopted in Washington in response to the challenges characterizing the Southern flank, in coherence with the 360-degree approach to Euro-Atlantic security envisaged by the NATO strategic concept.

CONFCOOPERATIVE ASSEMBLY, FOCUS ON INFLATION AND WORK
