On June 4th in Milan the third edition of ‘Young Innovators Business Forum’

Ferrieri (Angi): "A new vision of Italian and European industrial policy that can look at young people and innovation as a driving force"

ROME – The third edition of the ‘Young Innovators Business Forum’ will take place on 4 June in Milan, at the Testori Auditorium (piazza città di Lombardia 1). The event, organized by the National Association of Young Innovators (ANGI), unique in the Italian and European panorama, aims to highlight, through the voice of some of the major testimonies of the institutional, economic, entrepreneurial and corporate world , the main challenges of our country’s ecosystem with an overview of the main growth and development indices, opportunities and new technological trends, future generations and ecological and digital transition.
With work starting at 9am closing at 5pm, “this year’s themes – explains Gabriele Ferrieri, president of Angi, to the Dire agency – will be linked to open innovation, new technologies, artificial intelligence, energy transition, hive science and agritech, all elements that we want to have a common denominator: a new vision of Italian and European industrial policy that can look to young people, to innovation as a driving force”.

The Forum program includes a series of thematic sessions, divided between the various supporting partners, in which the projects and activities of each will be highlighted with a view to the development and growth of Italy . “We have gathered the main representatives of the city of Milan and the Lombardy region – continues Ferrieri – There will be opinion leaders from the world of start-ups and large Italian and international companies, as well as Government and European authorities, with the aim of sealing that public/private partnership which we believe is fundamental. It will also be an opportunity to reiterate the challenges and priorities of our country’s ecosystem, looking both at the implementation of the Pnrr but also at the next electoral appointment, with the aim of continuing to support the ecological transition and digital as an ecosystem in Europe”.

‘Institutions, Europe and Research Institutions compared’, ‘Innovation and sustainability for the new agriculture’, ‘The manifesto for a competitive Italy in the name of Open Innovation’, ‘Opportunities and development for an open vision source of new technologies for Italy and Europe’, ‘Academic World and Business: the importance of dialogue for economic growth’, are just some of the panels proposed in the third edition of ‘Young Innovators Business Forum’, with interventions of many illustrious names, as the president of Angi points out: “We have involved large corporations such as A2A, Bayer Crop Science Italia, Meta and Swag, as well as important entities from the public administration and universities. There will also be the special participation of Massimo Bitonci, undersecretary of the Ministry of Made in Italy Companies, who will remotely bring his support and closeness to the Government on innovation issues, with the hope of achieving, through debate, incentives, research and investments for the race for this economy that increasingly looks to innovation and digital. Among the great speakers there will be Oscar Farinetti who will bring his vision of Made In ‘Eataly’. On the start-up front, we have involved several young Forbes Under 30s who will comment on various points of our Manifesto, presented last May 23rd to the Chamber of Deputies, points that we believe are fundamental to meeting the challenge of our generation. In the Manifesto we started from: vision of democratization of technological tools and artificial intelligence at the service of citizens; importance of digital education for young people, starting from schools and not just universities; importance of investing in research and development to increase the competitiveness and attractiveness of investments for businesses; Digital PA that can promote a system increasingly oriented towards efficiency and not excessive bureaucracy; an Italian and European regulatory principle that looks at safeguarding citizens’ rights, without being an obstacle to research and digital transition; greater inclusion of female empowerment and a systemic vision in which public and private partnerships can help to achieve objectives”.
