Nursery bonus: late payments and furious parents

ROME – Mums and dads are furious: the ‘nursery bonus’ paid by INPS since January has not yet been paid. As far as we know, payments are in order until December 2023 but still no credit since the beginning of the year. In the last official communication, released by the Social Security Institute and dated 20 April, was considered of course, accreditations had been arranged for the first accepted applications. But this did not happen. In some cases, the procedures are not even registered, and even when they are (for months), they are never ‘closed’ so that the payment is made to the current account or via the method chosen by each individual parent. Parents are (rightly) worried, the bonus is sometimes fundamental support for those with children under 3 years of age.

Some users have already paid more than 3,000 euros in advance for nursery school fees: “Application for nursery school contribution made on 4 March; after 64 days still in ‘Registered’ status. COMPLIANTS TO THE CALL CENTER AND VIA E-MAIL

No positive results even for those who managed to speak with an INPS call center operator or via email. “Why don’t you talk about the shameful management of the nursery bonus???
