New seismic swarm at the Campi Flegrei, 56 earthquakes in a few hours

Since the end of May, the eastern area of Naples has been affected by a bradyseismic crisis

ROME – Since 3.48amlast night, a new seismic swarm has been underway in the Campi Flegrei area, until 7am :30 Italian earthquakes this morning, preliminarily recorded around 56 earthquakes with magnitude duration Md ≥ 0.0 (56 localized) and one maximum magnitude (Md) equal to 3.7 (±0.3). The news was reported by the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology. From the end May, the eastern area of Naples is characterized by a bradyseismic crisis.
