Naples, woman hit and killed by a drunk driver

A 26-year-old is under house arrest. With the victim were two little girls, who remained unharmed

ROME – Hit and killed by a drunk driver. It happened late yesterday evening in Camposano, in the province of Naples. The 27-year-old victim was walking with her granddaughters aged 10 and 7 when she was suddenly knocked over. The woman died instantly and the girls, however, remained unharmed.

The man driving the car was accompanied by the carabinieri of the Nola company to hospital: he tested positive for alcohol with a blood alcohol level of 1.7 g/l. He was arrested for vehicular homicide and placed under house arrest awaiting trial.
