Milan in the rain, there is an alarm for the Seveso and Lambro rivers

To avoid the flooding of the Seveso, the lamination tank in Bresso was activated

MILAN – Incessant rain in Milan since yesterday evening, so much so that a river level alert was issued. Starting from Seveso: to prevent a possible flooding, the lamination tank in Bresso was activated. The risk, in the case of a flood in the Seveso, concerns the Niguarda, Isola, Maggiolina and Pratocentenaro districts.

The Lambro also causes concern: in the morning the threshold levels were exceeded and the river overflowed in the Lambro district. As a precaution, Don Antonio Mazzi’s Exodus recovery community located inside the park was evacuated.
