Maria Tomba disappeared, her mother’s appeal on social media. But it’s a marketing gimmick

Write to me privately.” The heartfelt message was posted complete with a video by the mother of Maria Tomba, former X Factor 2023 finalist in the Fedez team.

Many messages of comfort until it was realized that it was all a marketing gimmick. Shortly afterwards, in fact, a promotional video for the release of a new project was posted on Instagram of the singer. Someone had already hypothesized that it was a publicity stunt like Rovazzi had done last week faking a theft for the release of the new single. The newspaper articles that reported the news of his disappearance were also cited in the reel of the marketing gimmick.
“I will remove the follow…I cannot in the slightest accept in the name of all the missing women and people…who deserve RESPECT”, writes a user on social media and many others: “Really in bad taste and embarrassing… Joking about something like this, when thousands of people disappear every day due to serious factors is truly absurd.”
