Maker Faire 2024 at Gazometro, calls open
From 25 to 27 October the event promoted by the Chamber of Commerce
ROME – All Maker Faire Rome 2024 calls are open. The event, promoted and organized by the Rome Chamber of Commerce (www.makerfairerome.eu), will be held from 25 to 27 October at the Gazometro Ostiense and will address all the key components of innovation: from digital manufacturing to the Internet of Things, from robotics to artificial intelligence, from agritech, to digital manufacturing, passing through Big data and aerospace, up to the latest discoveries of metaverse and augmented reality.

CALL FOR MAKERS – EXPIRES 3 JUNE
The “call” is aimed at makers, teams, micro, small and medium-sized businesses, startups and creatives from all over the world. By participating in the Call for Makers you will have the opportunity to submit your idea to the curators and those selected will be able to use, free of charge, a space to exhibit their innovative project, be the protagonists of a talk or perform in public during Maker Faire Rome 2024. Each participant you will be able to present one or more projects and choose one or more methods of participation.

CALL FOR SCHOOLS – EXPIRES 3 JUNE
Since its first edition in 2013, Maker Faire Rome has always given space to the creativity of young people – the true and fundamental wealth of our country – aiming to enhance the constant commitment and dedication of all the teachers who, on a daily basis, contribute to make the talents and qualities of all students shine, through innovative initiatives, projects and educational programs. The Call for Schools, created in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Merit, is free and aimed at all national secondary schools and similar educational institutions belonging to European Union countries (students aged 14-18 years) . A jury of experts will select the most interesting and innovative projects, born at school, and the chosen institutes will be able to participate in MFR2024 and have a free physical or virtual exhibition space. For the institutes that are selected, participation in the event will be recognized as a valid activity for the Transversal Skills and Orientation Pathways (PCTO). CALL FOR UNIVERSITIES AND RESEARCH INSTITUTES – DEADLINE 3 JUNE
Maker Faire Rome has always turned the spotlight on excellence in the technological and innovative fields, highlighting the projects of state universities and public research institutes. And this year too MFR wants to talk about the work of universities and research centers by making, through this call, a selection of the best ideas that will be illustrated in a physical space within #MFR2024 (the bare area, whose setup is the responsibility of the exhibitor, it will be provided free of charge while the pre-fitted 8 square meter stand costs 400 euros).
