Lollobrigida’s spokesperson, the ranks also passed through Diabolik

Signorelli helped Piscitelli to spread the news in the newspapers of the Roman right, write press releases or took care of events linked to the Irriducibili

ROME – The apprenticeship of the spokesperson of the Minister of Agriculture Francesco Lollobrigida also passed through Fabrizio Piscitelli, nicknamed ‘Diabolik’, head of Lazio ultras as well as right-wing extremist and drug trafficker killed in Rome on 7 August 2019.

As emerged in the chats between the two, reported by Repubblica, Diabolik had asked Paolo Signorelli – before becoming Lollobrigida’s head of press office – to develop a journalistic investigation that demonstrated the weight of season tickets in the financial statements of the sports club Lazio. According to Piscitelli, season tickets had grown after he staged a fan protest against Lazio and club president Claudio Lotito. This thesis to demonstrate Diabolik’s influence on the fans. And not only. Furthermore, with the death of Carlo Giannotta – historic exponent of the far right in Rome, Piscitelli asked Signorelli to produce an article that “Time at least must do”, he said in a voicemail.

In short, Signorelli helped Piscitelli to spread the news in the newspapers of the Roman right, write press releases or took care of events linked to the Irriducibili (the Biancocelesti ultras). But from the Whatsapp chats it emerged that Diabolik was harsh with Signorelli who, for having made a mistake in a statement, was told “you did it like shit”.

Lollobrigida’s defense didn’t take long to arrive. In these hours he wrote, commenting on the Repubblica investigation: “May the strength of your pencil respond to the poisons of the pen and the arrogance of jackals. Good vote”.
