Labor Festival, the ‘dialogue’ notices of Fonarcom and Epar to finance training

It is the first time that two bilateral bodies have created "dialogue" notices to finance business training

FLORENCE – The interprofessional fund Fonarcom and Epar, the bilateral and inter-sectoral body of Cifa-Confsal, launched their challenge at the Festival del Lavoro: to allow all businesses, even small and medium, and even micro, to create or strengthen their corporate Academies which, as is known, are the most suitable environments for staff training and business development.

A challenge that raises the bar of training in Italy. Thus, some limiting factors which, in fact, allowed only large companies to access this experience, starting with access to financing, disappear.

Now, this is no longer a problem. With the corporate Academy Notice and the intercompany Academy Notice, Epar finances the Academies by returning 70% of the membership fees paid to the companies.

To this contribution can be added that of the Fonarcom interprofessional fund, thus covering the costs 100%.

It is the first time that two bilateral bodies have created “dialogue” notices with the same objective: to finance as much training as possible for member companies and their workers.

Manlio Sortino, president of Epar, is satisfied: “With the dialogue notices of Epar and Fonarcom we are creating a real network between bilateral bodies that strengthens and implements the quality of the services offered. And we make more economic resources available.

The purpose of these actions of ours is aimed at financing measures and tools that are useful for the growth of solid and usable skills throughout people’s working lives, to guarantee the employability of workers and company productivity”.

According to the president of the #IlLavoroContinua study centre, Lucia Alfieri, “the choice to finance a dialogue between Epar and Fonarcom is a further innovation in the field of industrial relations of Cifa Italia and Confsal”.

Andrea Cafà, president of the Cifa Italia business association and of the interprofessional fund Fonarcom declared: “For years, together with Confsal, we have been working to overcome that culture of conflict which has marked, up to now and too long, relationships between the social partners

We are committed to building a collaborative model that finds synthesis in our bilateral bodies, Fonarcom, Epar and Sanarcom, which are increasingly operating as a single associative system at the service of businesses and workers”.

Davide Resmini, CIFA Italia promotion area manager, and Natalina Villanova, president of Epar Toscana and a great expert on the entrepreneurial fabric of the Region, also spoke at the launch of the Notices.

At the end, the general secretary of the Confsal union, Angelo Raffaele Margiotta, expressed his appreciation “for a result that is the result of years of dialogue and discussion between Cifa and Confsal. Our two confederations have a common objective, the well-being of the businesses and workers”.
