BOLOGNA – While greeting the crowd of admirers who had come to see him up close, King Charles also found himself in front of an alpaca. And he decided to stop and say hello too, giving him a light caress on the muzzle. The result, however, was that the animal gave him a nice sneeze. The video of the scene made many laugh and, predictably, went viral on the web
The episode happened in Canberra, Australia, where King Charles III was visiting the Australian war memorial with Camilla. The alpaca that surprised the sovereign of England with a sneeze is called Hepner and is nine years old. She was with her owner Robert Fletcher, outside the memorial, to greet the royal couple during their one-day visit to the capital: she also wore a tiara for the occasion.
