The trial against Darthés began in 2021, two years after Fardin filed the complaint for aggravated sexual abuse in December 2018 in Nicaragua, for facts dating back to 2009, during the tour of the series, when the actress had 16 years. Darhtes, after the first complaint, gave an interview for Mexican TV reversing the actress’s accusations: “I am deeply shocked and indignant. She killed me with this thing. Now I’m only interested in shedding light on the truth and let people know. If it is proven that what you say is true, I will kill myself. I have never molested or raped any girl.”

The actor was then acquitted in the first instance by Brazilian justice about a year ago.
