Innovation, the Milan budget councilor: “Let’s invest to make the city eco-sustainable”

All this is possible through investments.” This was declared to the Dire Agency by the Councilor for Budget and Real Estate of the Municipality of Milan, Emmanuel Conte, interviewed on the sidelines of the third edition of ‘Young Innovators Business Forum’, organized by the Association National Young Innovators (Angi), at the Testori Auditorium in Milan.

The event was also attended by Guido Guidesi, Councilor for Economic Development of the Lombardy Region, who underlined the importance of innovation which “is the winning recipe for our successes since productive and economic point of view. We have ecosystems in various sectors that continue to renew, thanks also to the contribution of the new generations and an ecosystem that starts from training, through investments and up to research which is then applied.
This is the winning recipe of a territory that continues to climb the rankings. Even in innovation, we expect a new generation of entrepreneurs and companies. Start-ups in the fields of digitalisation, sustainability and infrastructure are concentrated in Lombardy and technological innovation. Wecontribute with an annual competition called ‘Startcup’ and we do it through tools that help start-ups become companies. The role of the Lombardy Region is one of support and connection, in an attempt to achieve the set objectives as quickly as possible”.
