ROME – Four thousand people listened, in religious silence, to the performance of Stabat Mater by Giovanni Battista Pergolesi by the Young Musicians European Orchestra strong>, masterfully conducted by Maestro Paolo Olmi on the occasion of the 27th Festival Musiques Sacrées du Monde of Fès in Morocco. The piece was preceded by the reading of the text in the Italian version by the director of the Italian Cultural Institute of Rabat, Carmela Callea and in the Arabic version by Professor Nabil Mada, author of the translation.
