ROME – Ilaria Salis has been elected: now the 39-year-old primary school teacher, still detained in Budapest on charges of assaulting neo-fascist militants, is an MEP for Avs. Angelo Bonelli and Nicola Fratoianni will certainly talk about it in the conference that will be held in the morning, in which Roberto Salis, Ilaria’s father, will also participate. Voting, in addition to being a right, is also a civic duty. In this case, it was also a choice of civility. With the today’s vote, Ilaria takes one step further towards the rule of lawwith her, we all do it.
