“I administered poison to Giulia Tramontano in her sleep, I wanted her to have an abortion”

Further details emerge about the murder of the 29-year-old, which occurred exactly one year ago. The killer's statements before the judges

ROME –  “Yes, did I administer rat poison to Giulia Tramontano? I did it on two occasions, in the month of May, at close range. I administered the doses to her while he was sleeping, in his sleep. I wanted to harm Giulia, I wanted to cause her to have an abortion”. He said it Alessandro Impagnatiello before the judges of the Court of Assizes of Milan, during the trial in which he is accused of the murder of his partner Giulia Tramontano. Impagnatiello also responded to questions about how he would have tried to dispose of the body: “I threw petrol and flammable liquid on Giulia’s body without aiming for a particular wound. I wasn’t in my senses. I threw those products casually, he could have be a leg, like the trunk or a shoulder”. He also claimed to have attempted to deceive investigators and parents: “I had not made the box visible during the first inspection by the police because I had hidden Giulia’s body there. I told my family that there were marijuana plants in there for use personal, in reality it was because Giulia’s body was there”.
