BOLOGNA – Hugh Grant in Bologna? The English actor would have been spotted last night at Marconi airport, as evidenced by a photo circulating on social media. The actor, who in the image is walking at Marconi with his wife Anna Eberstein, may have arrived in the city to attend the Imola GP which will be held today 19 May. The star has never made a secret of being a huge Ferrari fan (he has even owned at least one, which made headlines when it went up for sale a few years ago). Two years ago, in 2022, he came to Italy to attend theMonza GPon 11 September 2022, also in that case in the company of his wife.

Now the actor’s Bolognese fans will go wild to understand if it is true that the English star is in the city and where he is staying, all with the aim of seeing him even just for a short while and maybe succeeding to take home an autograph. The caption accompanying the photo, posted last night in a Bologna-themed group, reads: “Marconi Airport landing of the Umpa Lumpa, big Ferrari fan“. The reference is to the role played by Hugh Grant in the recent remake “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory”.

Is it true or not true? At Marconi airport, Hugh Grant did not pass through the VIP lounge and did not ask for dedicated services. But this could be normal, also considering that he is a very shy actor. Furthermore, it is not the first time that a VIP passes through Marconi airport completely unnoticed: in March, for example, it was the case ofDustin Hoffman, passing through the Bologna airport because headed to Tuscany to shoot a film. Nobody noticed and the news didn’t spread.

In the photos portraying Hugh Grant at the Monza GP two years ago, the actor is dressed in a very similar way to the look that appears in the photo taken at Marconi: light gray jacket and white shirt. However, it could also be asuperstitious choice.
