MERCURY-NEW MOON IN GEMINI, PLANETARY ALIGNMENT 3/6/24- 6/6/24: INDRA’S NET Moon becomes New at approximately 16° of the sign of Gemini at 12.37pm on June 6th.
The New Moon evokes new beginnings.
The Gemini Archetype evokes: dialogue, communication, teaching, Inner Child, mind, power of words, ideas, interactions, connections, communication networks.
The degree 16 it is in itself a critical degree which in itself is evolutionary, revelatory. Let’s think about Arcanum n.16 of the “The Tower” Tarot.
We find ourselves on the Sagittarius-Gemini lunar axis which corresponds to the Master-Disciple relationship. Every person we meet on our path is a Master for us; for every person we meet on our path we are Masters. It is therefore an energy of learning: learning the art of accepting disappointments, failures, losses, shortcomings from the perspective of the Teaching, making the most of them and offering this to the Other as an Experience, thus creating virtuous circles of connections.
We will be invited to revitalize our internal dialogue, that is, the way in which our thought models are structured and the way we speak to ourselves. From it arise intentions, manifestations, actions, effects.
We will be stimulated to create networks of connections.
Here I cannot help but think of Indra’s network. It is an image of the Buddhist tradition that represents reality as a network and each phenomenon as a jewel set in the knot at the intersection of the ropes: each precious stone is reflected in the facets of those set in the other knots, reflecting at the same time the light of the nearby jewels. Meaning that no phenomenon makes sense and is truly accomplished independently of the others. Indra’s web represents the connection of all things in the entire Universe. The metaphor reminds us that each person is part of connections, more or less visible, and that everyone’s actions influence their entire and complex structure. It is a New Moon that invites us to be rooted in the community (trine Jupiter in Gemini-Pluto in Aquarius), to offer to the Common Good. Here I visualize the Tarot Archetypes “Hermit”, “Chariot”, “World”.
It is a Moon that asks to make contact/bring our Inner Child back to light. Taking back our personal and individual history starting from that very Child, caressing him, caring for him, consoling him; because, if we take care of the Child that lives inside us, we can be receptive to the messages of the Universe. An inner child “abandoned” to himself, to small and/or large dramas, builds an armor that as an adult will make him increasingly refractory to internal dialogue and to that with the Universe, becoming blind in the face of the infinite possibilities that it always has in store for each of us.
We will therefore be invited to ask ourselves “What are the false beliefs/belief systems/armours/installed in childhood and how functional are they for the adult we are today? How can I communicate with myself, to grasp signs, news, facts that the Universe sends me if I am conditioned by limiting and unresolved unprocessed beliefs?
We will be invited to abandon old patterns of thought/relationships that they do not have the character of functionality, truth, sincerity, authenticity, reciprocity (Moon conjunct Venus and square Saturn).
The Gemini Archetype teaches us to live in the here and now which does not mean showing superficiality and living from day to day , but it means bringing attention to what is happening, without being influenced by the limits that come from the mind, living in the present moment, not trapped in the past and scared of a future that does not yet exist; ability to grasp and welcome, recognize what the Universe puts in front of our path “in real time”.
We will be invited to ask ourselves if we are prey to anxieties, thoughts and dysfunctional communication. The Universe gives us information and indications, but if the mind is distracted and stressed (dark side of Gemini) not only does it not grasp them, but it doesn’t see them at all.
It’s a Moon that wants to drop masks of Ego, in this sense, will test us, but only to activate our internal dialogue.
Can I be a master of myself in the sense of drawing lessons from the experiences I live?
We will be stimulated to use communication in correct way, to put our mind in order. At this moment it is essential to identify what we want to carry forward and what, always with gratitude, we want to leave behind (Moon-Saturn square), especially in terms of mental patterns.
We will be stimulated to be aware of how we express ourselves, of how we use the word. Is my mind a victim of lucubrations or is it joyful? What am I fueling with thoughts, words and actions? Words can hurt, annihilate; Dysfunctional words can confuse, depress and undermine self-esteem. Denigrating words generate exclusion/division, but above all they exclude oneself from the Light. Let’s think about the effects, in karmic terms, that can produce words that, out of a need for satisfaction, fuel toxic dynamics, or on the contrary words of blame that defuse the same dynamics.
Words dictated by the heart, on the other hand, have the magical power of encourage, unite, harmonize, heal, express love, illuminate.
