Mars entered the sign of Taurus a few hours ago to remain there until July 20th.
Mars governs physical energy, competition, action and reaction, passion, anger, adrenaline, the nervous system.
The Taurus Archetype evokes: value, stability, security, construction, hedonism.
It is a passionate, affectionate, possessive Mars, but at the same time peaceful, patient, thoughtful, controlling and when something gets out of his control…there is trouble because control is an illusion.
And ‘ a Mars that holds…holds…endures…endures…but then explodes! The most beautiful side is industriousness and stubbornness. The negative side can be stubbornness, habit, control, hedonism that degenerates into lust.
On a karmic level, Mars in Taurus is a precious evolutionary opportunity to connect to the energies of Mother Earth and heal a distorted conception of material side of existence.
Towards the end of the transit, Mars will meet Uranus in Taurus, bringing a wave of unpredictable and unimaginable events. Uranus is the planet of the revolution of freedom and its conjunction with Mars can trigger unexpected and unpredictable events. This aspect favors the initiation of change and new mental patterns (which I spoke about in the previous article) which can manifest themselves in an impetuous way.
The energy of Uranus can push Mars to impetuous, drastic actions aimed at removing unproductive dynamics and stagnant. Here I visualize the unpredictable energy of the Major Arcana “The Tower”. From a spiritual point of view, the Tower represents the experience of the fall which conceals the opportunity for internal evolution. Adversity is painful but it drives change. Everything is in perpetual evolution and even adversities can only be transitory. Everything in life can always happen (Mars-Uranus conjunction, Mars square with Pluto) but it is precisely when man believes he is invulnerable, that is, infallible and omnipotent, that he falls when faced with the provocations and transformations that the Universe proposes. The wise man prepares for every eventuality and fears none. What to do when faced with such a request? Today I would like to refer to the words of Saint Paul, written in “The Letter to the Romans” that is… “Everything works for the Good”. As a non-Catholic, I greatly appreciate the spiritual value of this text and the encouragement it contains. The message is that, when faced with a life test and/or an event that can be considered not easy to interpret, it is best first of all never to stop at the purely external, material, superficial aspect of things, but to believe that every fact it is a manifestation of the Universe to lead us where we need to be. We will then see how life, which may appear to us similar to a fabric of which we only see knots and threads confusedly intertwined with each other, is in reality something else: it is the marvelous design of the Universe.
