‘Hello beautiful’ to official ceremonies, such as the anthem: the bill is Pd-branded

The Democratic Party presents a bill so that Bella ciao, "the song of freedom", is performed after the national anthem during the official ceremonies for the celebrations of April 25th

ROME – “Bella Ciao is the song of freedom and gratitude towards those who fought, even sacrificing their own lives, to restore freedom and democracy to the Italian people forced by Nazi-fascist tyranny. The democratic forces present in Parliament commit themselves to approving the bill that I presented together with my colleagues Berruto and Furfaro to recognize the song Bella Ciao as a popular expression of the founding values of the birth of the Italian Republic. Bella Ciao is performed after the national anthem on the occasion of the official ceremonies for the celebrations of April 25, the anniversary of the Liberation. The future of the country is built on shared history and certainly not with squadrist regurgitations which are a serious offense for millions of citizens.” This was said by PD deputy Stefano Vaccari, secretary of the Chamber of Deputies.
