After the attack, the victim's son left the house, but was reached by the police and arrested for murder

ROME – He stabs his mother to death during a domestic dispute. It happened in Sinnai, in Cagliari. 27-year-old Andrea Tidu hit Maria Dolores Cannas, a 57-year-old housewife, in the back. The victim’s husband who called for help was in another room at the time of the attack.

Timely assistance was provided by 118 and the Carabinieri of the operational and mobile radio unit of Quartu Sant’Elena. The victim’s son had left the house, but was immediately reached by the police and arrested for murder.
