Gunfire at Porta Sant’Isaia in Bologna, a 20-year-old seriously injured

A 20-year-old young man was found injured, apparently from a gunshot, last night in Piazza di Porta Sant'Isaia in Bologna: residents said they heard voices arguing. Nothing else is known at the moment

BOLOGNA – A 20-year-old Italian man was taken to the Maggiore hospital in Bologna under code 3 and emergency operated on. He was injured by a gunshot around 10.35pm last night in Piazza di Porta Sant’Isaia, in the historic center of the city. The Police intervened on the spot to rescue the boy who was asking for help, and the forensic team also went to the site to find traces of blood.

From the first reconstructions, as far as we know, it seems that some residents heard, shortly before the boy was found, some young people arguing and a noise that could be that of a gunshot. At the moment, the reasons for the gesture are not known, nor the author, and to reconstruct the dynamics of the facts, investigators are checking the images from the cameras in the area.
