G7 Week – Agenda, forward with ministerial meetings: from Tuesday in Bologna and Forlì

The meeting program starts on Tuesday in Bologna and Forlì

ROME – After the appointment dedicated to education, in Trieste, from 27 to 29 June, the ministerial meetings of the Italian presidency of the G7 forum continue. The next stop is scheduled for Tuesday 9th, Wednesday 10th and Thursday 11th July, in Bologna and Forlì.

The “Science and technology” dossier will be on the G7 table, as reported in a note by the Ministry of University and Research (Mur). It will then continue on 16 and 17 July in Villa San Giovanni and Reggio Calabria, where the Commerce ministerial meeting will be held. After the August break, the ministerial meeting on Work and Employment is scheduled for 11 to 13 September in Cagliari.

Then, from 19 to 21 September in Naples, the Ministers of Culture will meet. The Agriculture ministerial meeting is scheduled for 26, 27 and 28 September in Syracuse, in Sicily, followed by the Interior Ministerial meeting on 2, 3 and 4 October. in Mirabella Eclano, in the province of Avellino, in Campania. The meeting of G7 ministers on 4, 5 and 6 October in Matera will be dedicated to equal opportunities, while on 9, 10 and 11 of the same month in The heads of the health departments will meet in Ancona. Inclusion and disability will be the topics of discussion on 14, 15 and 16 October in Assisi and Perugia, and immediately afterwards, on 18, 19 and 20 October, in Naples the defense ministers will see.

The Development ministerial will be held on 24 and 25 October in Pescara , while on 3, 4 and 5 November in Genoa the issues of sustainable urban development in Genoa will be addressed . On 13, 14 and 15 November in Florence the Ministers of Tourism will meet. Finally, a ministerial meeting dedicated to Foreign Affairs, which should take place in Fiuggi, Lazio, is to be confirmed.

On Thursday 11th at the Tecnopolo the sessions will resume focusing on emerging technologies, nuclear power and space. The discussion will then continue on “seas, oceans and biodiversity”. The Italian presidency’s press conference is scheduled for 12.15pm, for a final overview, with summary, conclusions and commitments.
