Eurovision Song Contest, Angelina Mango: “I want to enjoy it, without thinking about the competition”

ROME – The wait is all for Angelina Mango who, in these days, is in Malmo, Sweden, to prepare for the Eurovision Song Contest in which she will represent Italy with the song ‘La noia’, for the occasion with a cut of 8 seconds because the songs in the competition cannot exceed 3 minutes. “When I arrived here I was a little scared. After the first rehearsals with the dancers I calmed down. I don’t want to think about the competition, I want to enjoy this whole experience in which music and the union between countries is celebrated< /strong>“, said the winner of the last Sanremo Festival at the presentation conference of the 2024 edition at the Rai headquarters in Viale Mazzini in Rome.
A promise from Rai: “Angelina’s will be an important performance“. Yes, because the artist, who demonstrates his skills in dance since his participation in ‘Amici di Maria De Filippi’, has prepared ashow choreographed by Mecnun Giasar, aka Majnoon, alongside Madonna, BTS and Rosalia. “I chose him because he puts 100% into everything he does, he is extremely professional and kind, characteristics typical of someone who is truly good. Aside from the result, it was an honor to work with I hope I’m up to it“, declared Mango.

The final, however, will be broadcast on May 11th on Rai 1, Rai Radio 2 and RaiPlay and Rainews.it. To comment on the event, “with a new form that we will test before going on air”, Rai announced, there will once again be Gabriele Corsi and Mara Maionchi. “I want to become the Pippo Baudo of Eurovision” , said Corsi, who promised: “If Angelina wins I’ll dress like one of Abba”.
