Eurovision, Angelina Mango excites journalists by singing ‘Imagine’ by John Lennon
“I want the music to speak and this is the strongest message I can share,” says the singer
ROME – A performance that came from the heart and moved everyone present. Angelina Mango sang ‘Imagine’ by John Lennon in the Eurovision international press room in Malmö after the many controversies that hit the international singing event.
The winner of Sanremo with the song ‘La noia’ first wanted to read a statement: “Hello everyone, I’m here because I wanted to be able to say my thoughts, in my way and with my words. When I arrived here I saw artists like me who live from music and speak with their music and who share the same dream. Last night I performed on the Eurovision stage with my heart full of love. I went to bed proud of me and proud of all of us Today once again I want the music to speak and this is the strongest message I can share“.
These are Angelina’s words that she read in English: “Hi everyone, I’m here because I would really like to express my thoughts in my own way and in my own words. When I got here I saw artists just like me, who live for their music and speak through their music and who shares the same dream. Last night I performed on that amazing Eurovision stage with my heart full of love once more I just want the music speaks. And this is the strongest message I can share today”.
