Europeans, Russia mocks Macron and Scholz: “They are failed politicians”

ROME – The French head of state Emmanuel Macron and the German chancellor Olaf Scholz are failed politicians: according to the president of the Council of the Russian Federation,Valentina Matvienko, at the following the European elections. His statements, broadcast via Telegram, are at the opening of the online edition of the Moscow newspaper Izvestija. According to Matvienko, “the fact that in the European parliamentary elections the leaders of the largest countries of the Old Continent, Macron and Scholz, suffered a crushing defeat with their parties, once again confirms their failure as both national and European politicians”. The manager, a historic collaborator of President Vladimir Putin, spoke of “a deserved result that derives from many years of complete ignorance of the real demands of people and society“.
