European Parliament projections: EPP first party with 25.83%, S&D at 18.47%

These are the first political groups

ROME – European People’s Party (EPP) at 25.83 percent with 186 seats, Socialists and Democrats at 18.47 with 133 mandates, Renew at 11.39 with 82 deputies. These are the first political groups in the new European Parliament, according to the latest projections. Following are the Conservatives and reformists, with 9.72 percent and 70 seats. Then Identity and Democracy with 8.33 and 60 mandates and the Greens/European Free Alliance with 7.36% and 53 seats. Followed by the Left, with 5 percent, corresponding to 36 deputies.
