ROME – The elections just concluded are confirmed as a flop from the point of view of turnout. According to the Interior Ministry, the turnout for the European elections did not exceed 50%, stopping at 49.69%. Over 96% of the sections were scrutinized, awardingFdi with 28.8% of the votes. Followed by Pd 24%; M5s 9.9%; Forza Italia-Nm 9.6%; League 9%; Avs 6.6%. Below the 4% threshold United States of Europe at 3.7% and Stock 3.3%.
What is surprising is the data on non-resident students who, in complete contrast, have completely reversed the national results. In fact, the most voted party was Avs with 40.5%, followed by Pd with 26.6%, Action 9.7% and M5s at 7.7%. Fdi collapse to 3.5%, FI 2.4% and Lega 0.5%.
