ROME – The percentage of those who trust the executive led by Giorgia Meloni is rising again. The government, gaining 0.2%, stands at 39.7%. This is what emerges from a Dire-Tecnè survey with interviews carried out between 9 and 10 May.
53.4% of voters have no confidence in the executive, a percentage down by 0.1% compared to a week ago . The share of undecided people drops to 6.9% (-0.1%).

This week Fratelli d’Italia rises again and is always firmly in the lead in Italians’ preferences. The Democratic Party follows, still growing compared to a week ago. Slight decline for the 5 Star Movement and for Forza Italia/Noi Moderati. Plus sign for Matteo Salvini’s League. Giorgia Meloni’s party therefore stands at 27.4% (+0.1% compared to a week ago). The Democratic Party remains at a distance, trailing by 6.9 points at 20.5% with growth of +0.2%. The M5S completes the podium at 15.7%, down 0.2 points. In fourth place FI+NM with 10.1%, losing 0.1%. Below is the League, at 7.9% (+0.1%). Followed by the United States of Europe at 4.5% (-0.1), the Greens and the Left at 4.1% (+0.1%) and Action at 3.9% (+0.1%). Libertà concludes the ranking at 2.2% (+0.1). The other parties overall add up to 3.7% (-0.3%).

Giorgia Meloni remains largely in the lead in Italians’ preferences among political leaders, followed by Antonio Tajani and Giuseppe Conte. The Prime Minister stands at 43.5%, marking a +0.1% compared to last week. Foreign Minister and Vice President of the Council Antonio Tajani gains 0.3% and rises to 35.8%. The M5S leader Giuseppe Conte, with 30.5% (-0.2%) completes the podium. Outside the top three positions, but growing, Elly Schlein who with a +0.1 rises to 30.2%.
Followed by Matteo Salvini unchanged at 27.7%; Emma Bonino with 23.6% (-0.1%); Maurizio Lupi with 22.5% (-0.3); Carlo Calenda with 20.2% (+0.1%); Angelo Bonelli with 16.2% (+0.1%); Nicola Fratoianni stable with 15.9%; Matteo Renzi with 15% (+0.1%).
