ROME – “Dancing with the Stars”, the dance show hosted by Milly Carlucci broadcast on Saturday 26 October at 8:35 pm on Rai 1, returns for another evening of challenge and competition. Dancer for one night in the fifth episode is Elena Sofia Ricci who, after the great success of “Fiori sopra l’inferno”, returns on Monday 28 October in prime time on Rai 1 with the second series “Ninfa Dormiente – I casi di Teresa Battaglia”, directed by Kiko Rosati, based on the novels by Ilaria Tuti. Elena Sofia Ricci, in a completely different guise, will take to the dance floor to dance a very special free style together with Moreno Porcu to the tune of the song “Piccola anima” by Ermal Meta.
Returning to the dance competition, a big twist, Saturday 19 October, at the end of the fourth episode of “Ballando con le Stelle” with the elimination of Cugini di Campagna: in a lightning play-off, the historic group obtained 43% of the preferences against 57% of the couple formed by Sonia Bruganelli and Carlo Aloia.
After weeks of rehearsals, these are the couples that will take to the dance floor on Saturday 26 October: Bianca Guaccero-Giovanni Pernice; Federica Nargi-Luca Favilla; Francesco Paolantoni-Anastasia Kuzmina; Luca Barbareschi-Alessandra Tripoli; Federica Pellegrini-Angelo Madonia; Sonia Bruganelli-Carlo Aloia; Alan Friedman-Giada Lini; Nina Zilli-Pasquale La Rocca; Tommaso Marini-Sophia Berto; Anna Lou Castoldi-Nikita Perotti; Massimiliano Ossini-Veera Kinnunen; Furkan Palali-Erica Martinelli.
As always, a couple could be eliminated at the end of the episode, but all of them, after a few weeks, will have the chance to return to the competition, on condition that they continue studying.
The competing VIPs, supported by their teachers, have created even more difficult choreographies for the fifth episode, and each of them will do their best to win over the viewers, but also the jury in the studio, led by Carolyn Smith. Alongside her, the jurors Guillermo Mariotto, Fabio Canino, Ivan Zazzaroni and Selvaggia Lucarelli.
As usual, alongside Rossella Erra there are the faces of Simone Di Pasquale and Sara Di Vaira always in the role of “Tribunes of the people”. The three voices will have the opportunity to contest the votes and in a phase of the competition to deny them by rewarding one of the “penalized” competitors. The final judgment on eliminations and promotions will always be up to the public at home who will have the opportunity to participate in the competition by voting for their favorite couples directly on social networks, from the official profiles of “Ballando con le stelle”. The prince of the treasure, Alberto Matano, is a must.
The music of each individual episode is entrusted to the showman Paolo Belli accompanied by his Big Band. The songs, played strictly live, are rearranged and adapted by Luigi Saccà to the many dance styles that the competing couples present on the dance floor in each episode.
“Ballando on the Road”, meanwhile, also in this nineteenth edition, like last year, lands in Calabria. Also on Saturday 26 October at 2:00 pm, images of the beautiful landscapes of the Calabrian region will accompany the performances of nine dancers in the episode of “Ballando on the Road”, a successful spin-off of “Ballando con le Stelle” hosted by Milly Carlucci with the new entry Matteo Addino alongside Carolyn Smith, president of the jury of “Ballando con le Stelle”, Guillermo Mariotto, stylist and historic face of the program, and Fabio Canino, well-known host and writer.
On 26 October, the second evening appointment will see the challenge, on the dance floor of the Rai Auditorium in the “Ballando con te” tournament, of the two talents selected during “Ballando on the road”: Ilinca Natalia Bendeac from Romania and Edward Malacria, from Rome. The collaboration is the result of an agreement between the Calabria Region and Rai Com.
