ROME – The health conditions of the Minister of Defense, Guido Crosetto, are clearly improving. “The clinical investigations confirmed that it was a new episode of pericarditis which was much more painful than the previous episode and, as then, without cardiac implications. Once the acute phase of pain had passed, pericarditis is treated like a normal infection, with anti-inflammatory therapy”, declared the Head of Cardiac Surgery at San Carlo di Nancy, Prof. Giuseppe Speziale.

The minister spent the night peacefully, still monitored at the coronary unit of the hospital. The minister canceled today and tomorrow’s commitments but in the morning he had a meeting with his closest collaborators for the daily briefing on the evolution of the security framework.
