ROME – Cristian Feregotto, administrator of Infostar, will lead the Telecommunication and IT Group of Confindustria Udine. The recent appointment as group leader involves a protagonist of the sector in Friuli Venezia Giulia, in a historical moment in which digitalisation and artificial intelligence, the heart of the company he founded, are at the forefront for the industry. “This appointment gratifies me enormously – declared Feregotto – because it comes in a very significant year. 2024 marks the 25th year of life of Infostar, which I founded in 1999, and my 30 years of work in the field of information technology, where I started, in 1994, as an employee”.

THE HISTORY

The presence of Cristian Feregotto in Confindustria Udine dates back to 2016, when the group leader was Fabiano Benedetti, president of beanTech. “Benedetti and his successor, Diego Antonini, president of Insiel, have carried out fruitful and successful networking and service work for associated companies. I intend to thank them and their associates for the trust they have placed in me to continue, innovating and proposing useful and growth initiatives”. Managing this scenario from an associative point of view is another demanding challenge, Cristian Feregotto already has clear ideas: “As the new group leader I will undertake to create opportunities for meetings and discussions between companies and experts for each sector , to create value and business opportunities. Finding a common thread between the entities that make up our group is not easy. We have members who are in fact start-ups or micro-enterprises that coexist with companies that exceed 650 employees. And then there are the countless specializations that fall under the denomination of IT and TLC.
