GENOA – Crime this morning in the Court of Genoa. Aldo Spinelli’s lawyers do not show up for the interrogation to guarantee the house arrest of the port terminal operator. Spinelli appeared alone before the investigating judge and the interrogation could not take place. New appointment for Monday. According to what emerges, the origin was a failure to notify the summons to the lawyers Andrea and Simone Vernazza.
Spinelli, a well-known port terminal operator and former president of Genoa and Livorno football, has been under house arrest since Tuesday on charges of corruption of the president of the Region, Giovanni Toti, and of the former president of the Port Authority, Paolo Emilio Signorini.
“My lawyers aren’t there, they left me alone. I’ll come on Monday, what do you want me to tell you”, Spinelli tells journalists as he leaves the courtroom. To those who ask him if he didn’t exaggerate with the financing that is being contested against him, Spinelli replies: “On Monday you will know everything. Don’t do any harm, don’t be afraid“.
