ROME – Giuseppe Conte, leader of the 5S and former prime minister, plays the guitar and dedicates ‘Words, words, words’ to Giorgia Meloni, cuts and eats a melon and tells his story, outside of politics , to ‘A Sheep’s Day’. Guest in the studio of the Rai Radio1 broadcast, the president of the Cinquestelle, between a reflection on internal politics, international politics and healthcare, indulged in a little gag.
Taking advantage of the two melons always present at the hosts’ table in ‘homage’ to the prime minister, Conte had a knife and napkins brought to him, cut them, ate them and explained: “I didn’t know that the meeting lasted an hour, I’m fasting, in the election campaign and here’s some fruit. Without any implied political offense… Nobody is offended, we respect everyone even if we don’t appreciate everyone’s action”.
Then, at the request of Giorgio Lauro and Geppi Cucciari, he also took up the guitar dedicating ‘Words, words , words’ to the Prime Minister and, inviting her to change her position on weapons, ‘My name is never again’ to Elly Schlein.

Do you consider yourself a faithful man? “I am absolutely faithful and I say I love you very often”. Finally, talking about tennis thanks to the connection between Un Giorno da Pecora and Nicola Pietrangeli, Conte, a fan of this sport who no longer plays very often, ‘revealed’ what type of player he was: “I was trying with mixed success to go to the net and the player who inspired me the most was Roger Federer, at least in the recent past. Going further back I really liked Panatta, Mc Enroe and Yannick Noah”.
