Confidence in the Meloni government begins to decline again: 53.5% of voters have no confidence, while 7% are undecided. Fratelli d'Italia is at 27.2%, while the Democratic Party is growing and reaches 20.6%

ROME – The percentage of those who trust the executive led by Giorgia Meloni is decreasing again. The government loses 0.2% compared to a week ago and stands at 39.5%. This is what emerges from a Dire-Tecnè survey with interviews carried out between 16 and 17 May.
53.5% of voters have no confidence in the executive, a percentage growing by 0, 1 compared to a week ago. The share of undecided people rises to 7% (+0.1%).

FDI DOWNS, PD CONTINUES GROWTH

The Fratelli d’Italia, always firmly in the lead in Italians’ preferences, has fallen slightly, whilethe Democratic Party continues its growthcompared to a week ago. Forza Italia goes down, while Michele Santoro’s list goes up. This is what emerges from a Dire-Tecnè survey with interviews carried out between 16 and 17 May.
Giorgia Meloni’s party stands at 27.2% (+0.2 compared to seven days ago). The Democratic Party remains at a distance, at 20.6% (+0.1). The M5S completes the podium, standing at 15.7%. In fourth place Forza Italia plus Noi Moderati: they are at 9.9%, down by 0.2. Below is the League, at 8% (+0.1%). Followed by the United States of Europe at 4.6% (+0.1), the Greens and the Left at 4.2% (+0.1%) and Action at 4% (+0.1%).
They conclude Cateno de Luca’s Libertà ranks at 2.1% (-0.1) and Santoro’s Pace Terra Dignità at 1.7% (+0.2). The other parties overall add up to 2%.

MELONI FIRST AMONG LEADERS, SALVINI IN DECLINE

Although with a very slight decline, Giorgia Meloni remains largely in the lead in Italians’ preferences among political leaders, followed by Antonio Tajani and Giuseppe Conte. This is what emerges from a Dire-Tecnè survey with interviews carried out between 16 and 17 May.
The Prime Minister stands at 43.4%, marking a -0.1 compared to last week. The Foreign Minister and Vice President of the Council Tajani is stuck at 35.8%, as well as the Cinquestelle leaders Giuseppe Conte remains at 30.5%.
Out of the first three positions, but growing, Elly Schlein who with a + 0.1 rises to 30.3%. Followed by Matteo Salvini, down to 27.7% (-0.2); Emma Bonino with 23.5% (-0.1); Maurizio Lupi with 22.2% (-0.3); Carlo Calenda with 20.3% (+0.1); Angelo Bonelli with 16.3% (+0.1); Nicola Fratoianni with 16% (+0.1); Matteo Renzi stable at 15%.
